Review: Great leveling kit !!! - First I want to start off by saying the quality of this leveling kit is top notch, especially for the price. No issues whatsoever ever regarding this product. The installation was of course a little frustrating just like almost any other car/truck project. One comment I seen quite often is if you get a 3” leveling kit in the front you’ll need longer control arms. NOOOOOO!!! You do not. Yes it is a tight fit while the vehicle is raised, yes your control arm might make some contact with the strut while in the air. But once you lower the vehicle and put the weight back on it the control arm is no where near to making contact like everyone said would have happened. One thing I do recommend is using PB blaster on every bolt! I have a well taken care of truck so I had no issues with stuck bolts. But I know how trucks get especially with rust. Don’t let the bolts frustrate you and just go into this project prepared. The front installation is definitely the worst part. Only because you most removed the brake caliper, tie rod, upper control arm and the strut assembly itself. But once all of that is removed and you begin putting it back together, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING A PRYBAR SET!!!! I went to Oreilly and they have a set for $19.99. It’s well worth it. If not you’ll have severe headache trying to put this kit on. The rear is super east. I recommend doing one side at a time so you don’t have the whole axle shift on you and it’ll be a pain lining the kit back up. Also, the U-bolts supplied for the rear are pretty long. You will not be able to use a deep socket to tighten the bolts back up unless you use a angle grinder and trim the bolts a bit which is what I recommend. If you don’t have access to one like me, you’ll need a 15/16 wrench (atleast for a 2006 F150 Lariat 2WD) and a lot of patience. Anyways overall this kit is amazing and I highly recommend it. Thank you Motofab!!!!
Review: Install tips and quality - Now just so everyone knows what there getting the 3in blocks in the front are just under 3in but still give it a 3in lift. The rear blocks are 2in directly. Now I gave it 5 stars on easy install but I have a machanical back ground. I installed this on my 2007 f150 v8 5.4l 4x4 and had to remove the CV axle from the wheel hub to get them to fit so make life easier and lossen all the bolts needed before pulling apart. The rear went in alught quicker but if your doing it woth common 1 1/2 ton Jack's I'd work you to have a third bottle jack to put in front if the difrence or a large bar and a buddy to realize the axle as you jack it up. But past that quilty so far is amazing I can feel and see the diffrence defently worth the money.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this cause problems with cv axle or other suspension components?**
A: The axles and suspension work just fine with no binding. My kit has been on the truck for about 12,000 miles and I have noticed that the outside edge of the of my tires are wearing a little. I would advise getting an alignment after the install.

**Q: Will a 35" tire fit on my f150 after i put this on**
A: I don't think they will fit. I haven't bought rims and tires yet but I'm thinking of going with 20 x 10.5 wheels and 33x 12.50 x 20 tires

**Q: What size tires will this allow**
A: Hi,Thanks for your interest. You will be able to run up to 33" tall tires.ThanksGreg

**Q: I know this isn't the smartest question in the world, but after looking at dozens of these kits: Will this fit an 04 F150 4x4?**
A: Yes

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3 inch level not an easy install but that's Ford's fault
*by L***Y on April 14, 2019*

So the product quality if first class. The strut spacers are quality sturdy and the 2 inch rear blocks are also top notch. Pay attention to the manufacturer's comments on the size of spacer versus the actual lift due to suspension dynamics. Meaning the strut spacers were 2 inches tall but once on the truck the lift was actually over 3 inches. Now for the install, regardless of what you see on youtube, be prepared for frustrations and new explicit languages when trying to get the strut out of a 2014 F150. Ford pressed in those two retaining bolts connecting the strut to lower control arm. They just don't hammer out. Don't take the axle out, disconnect the steering knuckle and then drop the lower control arm where it connects to the frame. For the rear, do one side at a time or the axle will shift on you and make it frustrating to get things lined up again with the 2 inch blocks. No, you do not need new rear shocks because of the 2 inch blocks, trust me. Overall I applaud the manufacturer for offering such a quality product at these prices. But, thanks to Ford, do yourself a favor and let a shop handle the headaches for you. I can tell you I love my truck and the 3 inch level. I get complements every day and heads always turn with this level and the 35 inch tires this level enables. I put on 295/65/20 Cooper STT Pro tires (35 inch) and there's no rubbing at all. Thanks Motofab!
