These stockings keep my yarn cakes and smaller skeins organized and intact for traveling crochet projects. The price is great for the value they provide me. No yarn unraveling and the continuous pressure on the outside of the cakes and skeins keeps them in line and easy to pull from, and untangled until they are just about used up. They are soft and slippery so the yarn slides over the fabric to come out easily and I don't have to worry about snags or anything else in my travels. They really hold up for my purposes and can be reused over and over again so I assume they make good wearables too! I can fit nice sized cakes and skeins in them. Not the one pound kind of course, but the mandala cakes are a great fit.
