It’s either I need a larger dose or I need something else, but I do not feel great on Syntroid. I feel angry and depressed. It did take away my joint pain. I felt better in Armour, but Synthroid is the treatment du jour. When I took Forte GTA II I must say that I felt immediately a difference within 20 minutes of taking one capsule. I now take three capsules a day in top of the Synthroid and I’m feeling very good and happy. No depression. I don’t have my endo appointment til December, so I plan to discontinue the for three weeks GTA II until my next blood test and then start it again after. I don’t feel comfortable telling my doctor about this, but I may. Update: It’s been about two weeks since I wrote this I believe and I have lost 6 lbs. I gained 22 lbs on Synthroid since I stopped Armour and I’m very happy to report that by taking this supplement my metabolism is faster. There is no way I have reduced 10500 calories a week to lose this kind of weight (if you take calories in calories out approach). I have reduced calories as I’m not ravenously hungry, but the reduction is about 3500 a week (to lose 1lb, not three like I have).
