This is a nice little keyboard/cover. I was jealous of the Logitech version that I bought for my son for his iPad, but this definitely lessens that for me. It's a little plasticy, but seems good enough for $25. The description is a little misleading about the "aluminum" part. They must be entirely referring to the color (which is white not silver or "aluminum"), because I don't think a single part of this is made from aluminum. The keyboard paired immediately, all the buttons work great (including the special function buttons). Clipping the cover on is a little worrisome, as I really don't want to mar my tablet in any way, but it doesn't seem to cause any wear problems so far. The white color matches my white Note 10.1 2014 rather nicely, too. The problem is the tablet is top heavy because the keyboard is way too light. It needs to be on a hard surface. I was a little disappointed with the cheap feeling of the plastic but that's something I get over. The keyboard functionality with the bluetooth connections works ok. Here is why I rate this item so low. When using this as a case, the design does not factor in the home button. This device basically turns the machine when in the closed position since it constantly hits the button. I'll know why my battery is dead when using this as a case. The only way I can think of preventing that would be to shut off the device each time I'm using it but that is extremely annoying.
