**Q: Does this valve work with pressure from both directions?  is it bi-directional?**
A: Yes. It is a ball valve, therefore it is not important which side is the pressure side. However, be advised that the 1/2 NPT thread is too shallow for a standard NPT pipe or fitting to seal properly. No amount of tape or sealant is sufficient for a standard fitting to seal. If the length of a standard tapered pipe fitting is shortened by about 1/8-inch it would probably seal. This is so typical of the poor adherence to standards of products made in China.

**Q: Made in usa or china?  why does nobody want to state these are made in ___ ?**
A: This stop valve is made in China.

**Q: Is the valve certified for California AB1953?**
A: This product does have an approval code of AB1953.

**Q: Will the 3/8 outlet directly connect to 1/4 RO tube?**
A: Since it says 3/8, you need an appropriate adapter to change the dimension. This applies to anything.
