Each can is 12 ounces of fully cooked and drained bacon. Between 4 and 4-1/4 pounds of raw bacon go into each can. Each can is the highest quality fresh #1 bacon slices. Cured to our specifications, cooked and then hand wrapped, rolled and packed in the U.S. We cook this bacon down for you prior to canning, so you won’t pay for all of the natural shrinkage that occurs whenever you cook bacon. Then we carefully drain all of the fat and liquid off and can it fresh so it will taste as good out of the can as it would right out of the refrigerator. 100% U.S. bacon!! I mean really who doesn't like Bacon??? You can add it to your Macaroni & Cheese or use it as a topping for your Au Gratin Potatoes. I use it in the home when a recipe calls for chopped bacon, just chop it up throw it in. I do cook this a little longer if using for bacon and eggs as we like crispy bacon. Great taste. I have given a can or two in assorted kitchen gift bags. Never counted how many slices in the can will have to do that.

I saved a layer in my meat tender months ago and they are still fine, 5sec in the micro wave, tasty and crisp. So if you do the math, these cans are not that expensive, although you are laying out some real cash. Just my two-bits. I just reordered a case.

**Q: How can the shipping weight be only 9 lbs for a case of 12 when the description claims there is 2-3 lbs of bacon in each can. Anyone? Thank you!..**
A: Because the bacon is cooked before it is put in the can. The weight of the bacon is before cooking.

**Q: "Between 2-3/4 and 3-1/4 pounds of raw bacon go into each can." How can that be if they "cook this bacon down for you prior to canning"?**
A: They put the equivalent of 2 3/4- 3 1/4 lbs of UNCOOKED bacon in each can. If you've ever cooked bacon you know that most of the weight is water and fat which cooks out. If you took a pound of bacon and cooked it you'd have about 4 oz. left of usable meat. That's how they arrive at their figures.

**Q: I see in the picture that there is a P 38 next to the can. Is that included?**
A: Not as far as I know. BUT anybody who does NOT have a P38 already in hand is a fool.

**Q: How long is canned meats good once customer receives the cans**
A: YMMV, last year I ate SPAM from 1998 and it was still tasty.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is our 2nd case of Yoder's Bacon

We started w/3 cans thinking we will try one can, if good will share with friends. Ate all 3 cans! Ordered a case to share with friends. We are older, have disabled son, no time to nicely cook bacon. Unroll bacon (you'll never get it back in the can, haha, it's in there tightly) & put 7 pieces each on paper plates & freeze, no paper towel. Stored each plate in a zip gallon bag and froze. Took out when needed, put in microwave 1 minute to crisp /heat. Best BLTs I've had in years. Ordered more from same seller immediately, bc wanted to give whole case to person who turned us on to Yoder's Bacon! It's cooked bacon, cold & greasy, like after breakfast is over, you see leftovers on table, only wrapped tightly in wax paper and canned. I tasted some straight out of can then decided it was so good I would zap it! I almost needed pliers to get it out of can but I pulled slowly, that worked. Hubby priced it & it's a great value for $ for our needs. Got about 40 pieces per can so far, not half pieces, these are full size bacon strips.
