**Q: Is this just supposed to be used for storage once you are done ironing or do you leave the iron sitting on this while it's on between use?**
A: Dear Customer,

The solemate for the TG1600+ is to protect the soleplate after use and during travel.

Using it as a rest when the iron is in use would be difficult, requiring the iron to be placed with the lifting feet directly over the corresponding holes in the solemate.

A: I do not hang mine on the wall.  I use it as a plate cover.

**Q: Yellow or butterscotch color? Is this a yellow or a darker butterscotch color?**
A: more butterscotch and does not fit TG1050 Smartiron
