Review: Excellent compressor for trailers and trucks with high PSI - I have had many 12V compressors over the years. All of them were horrible, but they were cheap. I was tempted to never buy one again and just get a large one in my garage, but I really wanted a good mobile compressor that worked and was compact. I did a lot of research on the best available compressors and then I came across this one. I had this in my cart for quite some time. I read and reread the reviews. Compared its claimed abilities with others. Then decided to pull the trigger. My biggest concern was will it actually be able to hit 150 PSI. Many claim they can but will burn up before they get there. I read some reviews that said it will easily hit 80PSI which is the max I needed. See my video. It reaches 80 PSI and without Issue. I got this for my trailer and my truck which both have PSI between 60 and 80PSI. So far I really like this compressor. It had the highest run time at 20 minutes where not others were 8-12 minutes. It’s good to have the higher run time when you need to get to 80PSI. They explain that you need to set the PSI 1-1.5 lbs higher than you want. This is true. 2lbs when you get up to 80PSI. I tested the pressure with a gage and at 80PSI, it was about 2PSI low. I was pretty fast at taking the nozzle off the valve And very little air was released so I don’t buy the claim that 1-2 PSI escapes due to the removal of the nozzle but the performance of the compressor way out weighs this little issue. You can set the Desired presser on the gage and the compressor will stop putting air in the tire, but the compressor will not turn off. Would be nice if it did but maybe there is a reason. I hope this review really helps those who were in the same shoes as me with wanting a fairly inexpensive mobile air compressor that is compact and just does its job. If I have issues with it, I will update this review!
Review: Excellent quality and works as advertised - At first I thought something was missing. There was no air chuck? I finally realized you just screw the air hose into the tire valve. So simple and easy. I have a new Jeep Wrangler, 2 door. I let some air out of the spare on the back and clipped the battery cables onto the battery which is easily accessed on the Jeep. Started the Jeep and set the units and pressure I wanted and nothing happened. The compressor didn’t come on. Then I realized the power switch at the bottom of the unit was off. Turned it on and it started filling my tire from 35 to 40 psi in less than a minute. Of course at lower pressures it will go much faster. The whole process is simple and easy. I am very happy. I wanted to test it before I actually needed it. Now I am confident. Will make it easy to air down and back up for off road to on road riding and to just check tire pressure for maintenance. They say don’t try to just use the cigarette lighter outlet, clip directly to the battery and run the engine. The aux outlet is fused at 20 amps, the compressor runs at 25 amps and may blow the fuse. Follow directions and stay out of trouble. Also, for us half-blind seniors, the digital gauge is easy to read.

**Q: Does it have overheating protection?**
A: Yes, it does. It has an Automatic Shut Off that protects the tire Inflator.

**Q: Does this unit have an auto shutoff at desired air pressure?**
A: yes it has a auto stop at the pressure you set.  You set the pressure by pushed the + or - buttons to increment the desired stop pressure, say 35 psi.   After setting it, will blink a few times then you start the pump and will push air and stop at 35 psi for example.  They claim 1% accuracy but in my test I measured, the actual stop pressure was 8% low to the pressure set in the dial

**Q: how much current does it draw from 12v adapter in the car?**
A: By adapter you mean the cigarette light.  The compressor will draw up to 25 amps to run.  Probably not the best to use the cigarette lighter but attach directly to the cars 12v battery using the supplied alligator clips.

**Q: I am having trouble starting my compressor.  what does the error code erff mean?**
A: unit overheating error code...let it cool down

I have had many 12V compressors over the years. All of them were horrible, but they were cheap. I was tempted to never buy one again and just get a large one in my garage, but I really wanted a good mobile compressor that worked and was compact. For the price, this pump is a good choice. The digital setup and readout is almost spot on. Makes it really easy to set and then come back later. However, it will stop pumping into the tire at the set amount, but the pump keeps running so U don't get a signal it's done. Also, it works with a lot more umph if you run it off the vehicle battery rather than the cigarette lighter attachment. After about 8-10 minutes it stops (too hot) and needs to cool down for another 8-10 minutes. It can take a while with big tires.
