A: USB only provides power to the LEDs, the globe can be turned manually via the cog mechanisms.

**Q: Can you buy a display case for the globe?**
A: Not sure if there is one available to fit this therefore may have to have a custom display case made to fit which could be costly.

**Q: Roughly how long does it take to assemble (adult)?**
A: Depends on how you want to assemble I would recommend its done over a couple of days or in 2-3 hr timeslots

**Q: Is the map up to date? one of the images shows sudan before it split - south sudan appears to be missing?**
A: dont know gave up on the whole project and consigned to bin

Very good working model, all parts fit perfectly no glue needed, instructions are good. Any keen modeller would enjoy this, but It isn't quick, I haven't built a model of any kind for about 30 years and it took me about 8 hours all in and only swearing a few times.
