Review: Clear view - Installed two of these on a 2009 Honda Odyssey--one as a backup camera and one as a front-facing camera, both connected to a Jensen CAR813 tablet-style head unit (I installed the front cam because the head unit natively supports two cameras, so why not?). The image from both cameras is very clear--much better than the OEM backup cam and the aftermarket front cam on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. The cameras appear to be durable and well-made. Kit includes both stickytape/adjustable-bracket and license-plate mounts. The included RCA cable was plenty long enough to run all the way to the back of the minivan with plenty to spare. But I had to buy an extension camera cable (also sold by PixelMan--"2.5mm backup camera extension cable") for the front cam because there was no way to run the fatter RCA connector though the Odyssey's ridiculously tight firewall. Anyway, these appear to be worth what they're charging, and my wife is happy (so I'm happy!). Time will tell how well they hold up. The warranty is 3 years--which is probably longer than the minivan will last!

It almost has night vision as well, because even at night I can see just fine on the camera. This was a pleasant surprise! Didn’t even need to use the license plate mount as it stuck onto my bumper right in between my license plat lights, and feels like it won’t come off any time soon. Looks super clean there. Just clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol first if you mount it that way.

**Q: Is it easy to install?**
A: If you know a bit about electrical systems and you know your vehicle or can read references like factory service manuals, then yeah. Its not bad. If you don't know how to solder, or how to find a 12V source of electricity while in reverse then you're gonna have a bad time.

In other words, it's all relative. Do your homework and learn what you're getting into. You can always have a car audio/alarm place do it for you.

**Q: If I want the camera to be always on, which of the 3 12V lines do I need to connect, or do they all need to be connected in series?**
A: I tried everything and I was unable to get it to work. I finally returned it. Good luck

**Q: I have new jvc stereo and the wires are bad! it has two rca cables and it shows that it only one rca cable. will it work with my jvc?**
A: The headunits reverse cams are typically yellow RCAs. But just wire it up power wise and try the different RCAs you see and whichever triggers on when in reverse is gonna be your wire. Reverse cameras will always be just one RCA unless your headunit has multiple camera inputs (front view, side view & rear etc.)

**Q: What is the power consumption of this camera?  Watts at 12v/mil-amps??**
A: I had a friend install it and it was super easy and it honestly works very good! It was very affordable
