It bored through 7" of Dried Red Oak boards with out an issue ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was durable after drilling numerous holes in Redwood and PVC, soft materials. *by P***S on June 23, 2022* The package arrived with obvious signs of use of one of the bits, 1/4", of course that was the bit I needed. Since I was anxious to start my project I used that same 1/4" bit, 12 " long, and drilled about 50 holes in 3 inch thick redwood, then the hole goes to 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe. The bit worked very well and by the end of the project started to go dull and split the wood at the exit, which it did not do in the beginning of the project. Overall it is a durable brad point bit that worked well for soft wood. It is made in China. For a garden project it was perfect and the price was reasonable. I did not try it on hardwood, but it did well on the PVC which is hard.
