Then I use the rod + hammer to make a hole about 6 inches deep. Remove the rod and drop in the pole, easy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plow people from Mars? *by G***D on December 28, 2018* Needed 6 foot markers for the bigger trucks to see, at a reasonable price. These are the same markers you'll find at every hardware, big box store, without the big price tag. Ok, ok, I know 4 bucks is not a big price tag, but when you use a few hundred of these it adds up. I ordered the green as it adds contrast against the snow, and the green is not available locally, which is good. Maybe some of the other plow people will think twice about taking our markers at the end of the season, as in the past, if they are a different color. Green markers may help keeping a little more green in our pockets! The reflective area is nice and big, can be seen well before the driveway. When you order the larger quantities, the price point, goes down too! 50 to 75 markers should be about 2 bucks each. But 100 or more, if you can find the size and color you want, should get you down around a 1.50 to 1.75 each. Happy plowing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fiberglass splinters no fun! *by E***R on October 15, 2018* This is a good value product. I am using it to mark native plants in my yard so I don't mow them in the spring. They will stand out clearly against snow and the browns of spring, but fade against the greens of summer so I should be able to leave them in place year round. The one recommendation I would make is to wear gloves when handling them because I got a couple of splinters that were impossible to remove with tweezers. Final note, the pictures from the seller are clearly photo-shopped and portray the stakes as being quite a bit taller and thicker than they actually are.
