Review: Very beautiful and easy to handle. Great gift for someone doesn't have time to water plants. - I got this as a gift for my daughter who is too busy to care for any plants and she loved it! This was the one plant she managed to not kill (including multiple succulents). I decided to get one myself, and it is beautiful and low maintenance. I left it on my desk in my office which doesn't have many plants or much sunlight. It's relatively compact but has such beautiful flowers. The plants lived about 90 days. I would definitely get this again.

**Q: If i want to replant this, what planting medium do you use? and are those sundew moss the same as the sundew carnivorous plant? thanks**
A: Those are the carnivorous sundews.  You'll want a peat and perlite or peat and sand mix.
For the violet, go with something similar to African violet mix soil, but make sure it can drain well.

**Q: Has anyone not had an issue with mold? I see its common and my guess would be the nutrient gel is not sterile as advertised.**
A: I have two and have not experienced
problems wi contamination. I haven broken the seal on the jars.

**Q: Are there replacement plants for when the plant dies...description says the plant last about a year?**
A: I don't know I just stared with this seller. I am hoping for the best it will last a year. I look at mine every day and it is doing fine.

**Q: Does this plant only last for 1 year then die? Or could you do something to make it last longer than a year? Like add water?**
A: The violets are only guaranteed for 6 months the yellow orchid is guaranteed for a year. So far I am following the instructions that came with it and my plant has a bunch of new blooms. Also instructions indicate not to open it at all . Self watering, keep out of the sun

Although it is very pretty and unique, it wilted after a couple of months. I contacted customer services for instructions on how to remove the wilted plant and keep the live moss, but they never responded to my email or online message system. For the price and services, I wouldn’t buy it again.
