**Q: Could this work with The metal foundry that The king of Random made?**
A: It will work using his foundry but only with propane or a waste oil burner. The crucible is too large to allow adequate room for charcoal unless you enlarge his design.

**Q: Will this hold a pound of liquid copper?**
A: Hello,

These will actually hold up to 8 lbs of molten copper or brass (3 lbs of aluminum).

**Q: Can you use this in a charcoal foundry?**
A: I don't see why not. Charcoal doesn't typically get hot enough to burn through the clay-graphite crucible. Anthracite coal however...Is a different matter. I've burned holes in two crucibles with Anthracite coal.
