Review: Best tinted spf for rosacea type 2. - I have rosacea type 2 skin and I've purchased this Cetaphil Redness Relieving moisturizer with spf three times. This is my third purchase. I use it daily in the morning .I've tried and wanted to try other sunscreens, but I keep coming back to this one because it has never caused flare-ups or acne in my skin. This product is really non comedogenic. I won't say it has reduced redness, but it does provide coverage, which is a big plus for rosacea-prone skin. The texture is light and creamy and spreads easily and adjusts to the skin tone. It does not cause burning or stinging.It sits well under makeup and gives natural glow. I would recommend this sunscreen for people with rosacea type 2.

**Q: Does this product lessen facial redness over time? Or is it just a tinted moisturizer to cover up the redness?**
A: This is like a tinted moisturizer in my opinion. I like that I can wear this instead of makeup everyday. I have not noticed a major decrease in my redness personally.

A: It works amazing! Its got a tint to it so much foundation isnt needed .

A: Ingredients say seed oil & shea butter so doubt it's oil free

A: Well there is no exp date on the bottle/tube itself and I didn't save the box.  Because I don't use a whole lot but a dime size squirt, I've had a tube for over 6 months and, yuppers, it still works.

I have rosacea type 2 skin and I've purchased this Cetaphil Redness Relieving moisturizer with spf three times. This is my third purchase. I use it daily in the morning .I've tried and wanted to try other sunscreens, but I keep coming back to this one because it has never caused flare-ups or acne in my skin. This product is really non comedogenic. I won't say it has reduced redness, but it does provide coverage, which is a big plus for rosacea-prone skin. The texture is light and creamy and spreads easily and adjusts to the skin tone. It does not cause burning or stinging.It sits well under makeup and gives natural glow. I would recommend this sunscreen for people with rosacea type 2.

I am using this moisturizer at the direction of my dermatologist in conjunction with desanide (prescription topical steroid) and nutraseb (prescription topical cream for dermatitis) due to some sort of crazy allergic reaction I'm having. I swear by K beauty so I was not happy to have to scrap my entire routine but this stuff is actually decent. I didn't realize it had a tint and honestly, if it weren't summer, I don't think I could get away with it as I'm pretty fair skinned, but it's fine. My skin is insanely sensitive and almost everything I put on it that I'm not used to or haven't thoroughly researched and vetted tends to feel like I'm slathering acid on my face, but this doesn't bother it at all. The tint is pretty even, but again, not my skin tone. I don't imagine that the one and only tint it comes in will work for most people as a staple unless it just so happens to be your skin tone. That said it does a good job of moisturizing. My skin tends to be really dry and I haven't had that issue since I started using this. One thing about it that really, really sucks is that it's making my skin insanely oily. Like, shiny, glowing, REALLY oily, which has never been a skin issue for me - ever. On the bright side, my skin isn't irritated by it and it seems to be pretty moisturized (which is odd because usually oily skin = dry skin but when I wash it off my skin feels good and not dry) Minus the oily issue and the tint, this is a decent moisturizer and it's definitely okay for sensitive skin.
