The ingredient profile is very impressive, as certified organic Timothy grass is the very first ingredient on the list. It provides the essential high-fiber content that small animals require for optimal digestive health. Knowing that this feed is fully USDA Organic certified offers great peace of mind. You can trust that your pet is not consuming unnecessary chemicals or artificial additives. The inclusion of stabilized Vitamin C is another major benefit. Guinea pigs cannot manufacture their own Vitamin C, so having a reliable, high-quality source built right into their daily kibble is crucial for preventing deficiencies. The pellets hold their shape well and do not crumble into a dusty residue at the bottom of the bag. Small pets seem to genuinely enjoy the natural flavor, making mealtime both easy and nutritious. For any pet parent seeking a clean, premium, and reliable diet for their guinea pig, this product is highly recommended. It deserves a full five-star rating. Review: Smells So Strong — My Baby Can Find His Food!!! - My baby Nutella is a little bit harder smelling, and doesn’t smell things that aren’t very potent. This food has such strong scent that he can smell it when I put it in the bowl he can find it all by himself and eat it perfectly. He’s almost a year-old and weighs 554 g. Someone abused him and broke his back legs and starved him when he was a baby. I rescued him from the Humane Society and he is thriving courtesy of Oxbow food. He’s gained 200 g since I got him in March. He is slowly gaining weight along with critical care. This is what he eats. This is his favorite food and it’s the easiest to find because he can smell it worth every penny of the $14 a bag I spent on it. I can mix it with other food and he’s able to find his food without me being right there to guide him. I love him so much and this keeps him alive. Thank you, Oxbow!!! ## Features - ADULT GUINEA PIG FOOD: Unleash the natural joy of your pet with Oxbow Organic Bounty Adult Guinea Pig Food; Indulge them with delicious pellets, made with 100% hand-selected, certified organic meadow hay for guinea pigs; A feast they will truly relish - FORTIFIED WITH VITAMIN C: Oxbow Organic Bounty Adult Guinea Pig Food provides essential guinea pig nutrition with fortified vitamin C pellets; This USDA organic small animal feed supports immune health and digestive support in adult guinea pigs - ANTIOXIDANT-RICH FORMULA – Packed with organic antioxidants from natural ingredients, this adult guinea pig food helps combat oxidative stress, supports immune function, and promotes overall wellness for healthy, thriving cavies every day. - OMEGA BOOST: Oxbow Organic Bounty Adult Guinea Pig Food delivers guinea pig pellets rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids; This timothy hay based diet supports a shiny coat, healthy skin, and cognitive function while promoting balanced guinea pig nutrition - MADE IN THE USA: Proudly produced with quality, domestically sourced ingredients, this USDA organic guinea pig food is crafted for safety and efficacy; High fiber, timothy hay based pellets deliver trusted guinea pig nutrition and digestive support ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001ODZIPE | | Additional Features | USDA Organic Certified, Vitamin C Fortified | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Soy Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Plant-Based | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | Organic | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,803 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #39 in Small Animal Treats | | Brand | Oxbow | | Brand Name | Oxbow | | Breed Recommendation | Small Breeds | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 776 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Organic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00744845710204 | | Item Form | Pellet | | Item Type Name | Fortified Nutrition | | Item Weight | 3 pounds | | Manufacturer | Oxbow Animal Health LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | 10594 | | Model Number | 744845710204 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 3 Pound | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Product Benefits | Nourishes with organic ingredients, boosts immune & skin health, and supports digestive wellness | | Recommended Uses For Product | Digestive Health | | Special Ingredients | Organic grass hay, organic canola meal, wheat straw, barley, sunflower flaxseed, chicory root, dandelion leaf, ground rosemary, blueberry, cranberry Special Ingredients Organic grass hay, organic canola meal, wheat straw, barley, sunflower flaxseed, chicory root, dandelion leaf, ground rosemary, blueberry, cranberry See more | | Specific Uses For Product | Digestive Health | | Target Species | Guinea Pig | | UPC | 744845710204 | | Unit Count | 48 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Oxbow - **Flavor:** Organic - **Item Form:** Pellet - **Specific Uses For Product:** Digestive Health ## Images ![Organic Adult Guinea Pig Food, Guinea Pig Pellets, Vitamin C, 3 lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Ub1Gy18sL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you place an image with the ingredients or write in the description all the ingredients? This is a mixture of different organically grown grasses, mostly orchard grass, but may also contain brome, rye, timothy, and bluegrass as well. Please contact us at https://www.oxbowanimalhealth.com/contact if you have further questions. **Q: can you feed this to two female chinchillas?** A: I wouldn't trust it. I would suggest to find something formulated for your chinchilla. Your furbaby is worth the extra searching! After all, you don't want to risk your chinchilla's health with something that may not be formulated for them. Oxbow might have something formulated for Chinchillas. Oh and something I read about chinchillas you may or may not know. They require specialized dust/sand to take dustbaths in. Figured to say that since you asked if guinea pig pellets can be used for chinchillas. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The only pellets I will feed my Guinea Pig. *by B***0 on September 3, 2026* This is an excellent, high-quality food option for adult guinea pigs. Oxbow quality is consistent *by A***D on June 19, 2025* This was a special treat because it’s more expensive than the usual Oxbow Guinea pig food but I mix it together. Very green and fragrant. Sounds nice and crunchy and my 3 girls love it. Alway fresh and there are no “fruit loops” or non nutritional bits thrown in. I know they are getting good nutrition. ## Frequently Bought Together - Oxbow Organic Bounty Guinea Pig Food, Adult Guinea Pig, Made with Oxbow Timothy Hay, USDA Organic Pet Food Pellets with Vitamin C, Small Animal Pet Products, Made in USA, High Fiber, 3 lb. bag - Oxbow Animal Health Natural Science Vitamin C Supplement, Vitamin C for Guinea Pig, Made with Oxbow Timothy Hay, Pet Supplements for Guinea Pigs, Veterinarian Formula, Made in USA, 4.2 oz bag - Oxbow Animal Health Hay Blends, Western Timothy & Orchard, Guinea Pig Hay, Small Pet Bunny Supplies, All Natural Grass for Guinea Pig & Rabbit, Oxbow Rabbit Supplies for Bunnies, 90 oz. bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/3764963-organic-adult-guinea-pig-food-guinea-pig-pellets-vitamin-c](https://www.desertcart.us/products/3764963-organic-adult-guinea-pig-food-guinea-pig-pellets-vitamin-c) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
