However the handles on the lids do get warm. **Q: Why is this set so much cheaper than on green pans website? Is it a different set? Or differnt materials? Looking for something safe to use** A: GreenPan offers many different versions of pans, but I've had this set for 8 months now, and am still very happy. I am not particularly careful with them, although I use bamboo or silicon utensils, and don't put in the dishwasher. They still are completely non-stick, and inside & out, no stains. Eggs slip right out of the pan every time. This might be 1 or 2 generations behind - that's my best guess **Q: Can we use this on glass top stove?** A: I do and there is no problem.
