In the photo I have posted, you can see battery percentage shown when on battery powered and when powered with the adapter, it doesn't show the battery status which means the adapter works with this doorbell. It still works perfectly. **Q: What is the width, height and depth (excluding the pins) please.** A: Appologies for my last answer The power supply is approx 3 inches square and the lead excluding the pins was approx 2 meters long and easy to fit **Q: Do I need to remove the battery connection?** A: No, just connect to the two screws at the back (in any order) the battery remains in place. Hopefully it will continue ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent doorbell transformer but Eufy E340 users beware *by A***R on 26 December 2025* I purchased this as a stop gap until I get a hard wired doorbell transformer for a new Eufy E340 doorbell camera. I read in other reviews that the transformer is noisy but I haven't found it to be. What I do find is that it charges the Eufy E340 very slowly because the transformer output is only 500ma at 24V and the output needs to be at least 1.25 amps at 24V (or 30VA) fr the Eufy E340. That said, it does indeed charge but by around 1% every 2-3 hours which almost gives the impression it's not charging. What I have also found is that the battery stops charging (even when not at 100%) but when the battery drains a little it resumes charging again. I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe it's a Eufy design feature? As a stop gap, it's great value for money, the quality is reasonable for the price and it's very simple to install. The size is what you'd expect for a standard brick wall plug.
