## Description

desertcart.com : WOLVERINE 18-Sheet Heavy Duty Commercial Paper Shredder for Office, Gray | P4 Cross Cut | 60-Min Run | Ultra Quiet 54dB | Anti-Jam Auto Reverse | 6 Gal Bin with Casters | ETL | SD9611 : Office Products

Review: High quality product! - Appears well-made, easy to use, runs smooth and quiet, and gets the job done! The tapered feed in slot helps make feeding the paper in easier! However, I found that 15 sheets of letter size printing paper was the max it can handle without stalling! It stalls out shredding the advertised 18 sheets! If it lasts a decent amount of time, I will be satisfied and would buy another Wolverine shredder!
Review: Best shredder I have ever owned. (Have owned about 6.) - Love this shredder. Takes the abuse I dish out usually. Rarely jams, very powerful. Kinda pricey but totally worth it in my view. Not too hard to empty. Still running a year later with a lot of use.

## Features

- P-4 cross cut security: Shreds up to 18 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 1-3/8" (4 x 35 mm) particles, P-4 security level for confidential office documents. Handles staples and paper clips, and a separate slot cuts CDs into three pieces.
- 60-minute continuous run: A built-in cooling system supports up to 60 minutes of nonstop shredding, so this heavy duty paper shredder keeps up with high-volume office and home office work without frequent cool-down breaks.
- Ultra quiet 54dB, 6-gallon bin: Runs at 54dB to keep a shared office calm. The 6-gallon pull-out bin has a transparent window to check the fill level at a glance and empties easily.
- Auto jam reverse: Jam detection automatically reverses stuck paper, so you do not have to clear jams by hand and shredding keeps running smoothly through daily heavy use.
- ETL certified, 1-year warranty: ETL safety certified and covered by a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty. Our after-sales team responds to product issues within 12 hours.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Q1: Is this truly cross-cut? A review claims it's strip-cut.**
A: A: It is genuine P-4 cross-cut ($4 imes35 ext{mm}$), not strip-cut. The $35 ext{mm}$ pieces may look elongated, but they are proper cross-cut particles. For finer confetti-like fragments, choose a P-5 micro-cut model.

**Q: Q2: Is the P-4 cross-cut suitable for confidential documents?**
A: A: Yes. The SD9113 cuts paper into approximately 5/32 × 1-3/8 inch (4 × 35 mm) particles, making it suitable for securely disposing of financial statements, tax records, client files, and other documents containing personal information.

**Q: Q3: How loud is 54dB? Can I use it in an open or shared office?**
A: A: At 54dB, it’s quiet—about the level of normal conversation. It blends into background office noise and won't disrupt phone calls, allowing you to run 60-minute batch shredding without bothering coworkers.

**Q: Q4: Why did paper capacity drop from 18 sheets down to 5–6?**
A: A: Paper dust and adhesive residue build up over time. Run a sheet coated with shredder oil monthly, and avoid sticky labels or envelopes. Proper oiling restores and maintains full 18-sheet performance.

**Q: Q5: How do I maintain the shredder?**
A: A: Empty the bin regularly and lubricate the cutters periodically with shredder oil or lubricant sheets to maintain smooth performance. Avoid aerosol or petroleum-based lubricants.
