I cooked them for about 3 hours whole & then put in blender & put the slurry into a tied up cloth & back into the pot to continue to seep it's goodness into the meat broth. They are fantastic! Buy with confidence! (My husband later bought some other dried guajillo peppers in El Paso, and it was then that I realized that they are not all packaged and made the same. The ones he bought were all dried out and broke easily. I can foresee more of a challenge separating the seeds due to their fragility.
