Measure With gloves on, pour equal amounts of resin (A) and hardener (B) into a mixing cup. Ex.: 250ml (A) with 250ml (B). If measuring by weight , use mixing ratio 100(A):90(B). Ex.: 400g (A) with 360g (B). Mix Stir both parts slowly by hands for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to scrape the sides while stirring. Once done, you have around 30 minutes of working time . Pour Pour the product into your mold/on your project. DO NOT scrape the resin out of the container, just dump it and leave the remaining material in the container. Tip: After pouring, you can quickly pass a blow torch a few inches over the resin to pop all the extra air bubbles. Wait Depending on the thickness of your project, the curing time can take up to 60 hours. The thinner it is, the longer it takes to cure. If you need to do an additional pour, you can do do so between 6 to 12 hours after the last pour. If you wait longer than that, you will need to sand your project with some 180 or 220 grit sandpaper before doing an additional pour. I've tried to make 2 bowls, but the resin doesn't harden ever. Any suggestions why the bowls aren't hardening?** A: The only things I can think of would be not measuring the resin and the hardener equally.....you should be able to tell by looking at what you have left in the jugs and seeing if they are at the same level. The second possibility would be if your room that you are mixing in is too hot or too cold. Read label for temperature range recommended. Or I guess your resin could be too old or a bad batch. It would be difficult to find that out, I think. My suggestion to you would be to mix a little more for a test and see if it works this time. If it does work then you know you mixed it wrong. You could pour what you have back into a mixing container and use it with additional hardner for another attempt at your bowls. Another thought, if you're bowls are very big, do them in half stages. Super clear, almost zero smell and not noxious, virtually bubble free, excellent price point, sets up within hours to a firm, handleable state, plenty of working time. I've never bought epoxy that the hardener wasn't yellowish right from day one so having both parts be as clear as water is amazing.
