**Q: Can this remove any type of sticky residue from surfaces?**
A: It depends what the sticky substance is. Some can be washed with water and a mild surfactant like washing up liquid. Others need white spirit, or methylated spirit.
Iny case it was to remove the stickyness on a camera body that had been unused during the pandemic. The isopropyl alcohol was recommended by someone who had a similar experience and was allegibly successful.  My experience was only partially successful. Shame as the camera has an excellent lens.
Hope this helps but always try least aggressive cleaning first and when using solvents do it in an airy place

**Q: can I use this for electronics**
A: Ignore the other answer, they do not know what they are talking about. Do not use disinfectant wipes. 

Yes, isopropyl can be used as a disinfectant but that is not it's primary use. It is also used for cleaning electronics as a simple Google will tell you. Keep the % as high as you can and don't dilute further. Allow the isopropyl to fully evaporate before powering the electronics up again.

PS, Fifi - 70% isopropyl is a better disinfectant than 99%. Higher concentrations of alcohol are less effective at killing bacteria.

**Q: Can you use this on skin wounds**
A: I would not suggest it as it can make the skin red and sore.

A: Yes.
