**Q: I used this to upgrade my sons 6V riding tractor. It worked amazing for about thirty minutes and then just stopped. Anyone know why?**
A: Hi, for your 6V riding tractor, the output voltage of 18v DeWalt battery is too high, there might be risky to use. Or much betterr that you can add a switch power supply to use, or you you can try the Milwaukee M12 12V battery adapter.

**Q: I installed this correctly but im blowing fuses. Anyone have this issue? How do i fix this?**
A: Have the same problem. I just ordered 60amp fuses, gonna try that. If that doesn't work I also bought a voltage regulater, which should definitely work.

**Q: Will this protect the battery from getting completely drained which can cause damage to the battery?**
A: The power wheels adapter only work as tool for outputting battery voltage and power directly from your battery, so we're sorry that we can’t ensure the protective function.

**Q: What specific battery are you using? I purchased an off brand and it isn't work for more than 20 minutes and dies (requires a charge).**
A: Dewalt 20v. 20 mins isn’t terrible. The reason that this adapter is so great is because the batteries only take 45 mins to charge instead of 6-8 hours like the OEM. Also, folks usually have half a dozen or so Dewalt batteries which don’t weigh much, charge quick and give you an extra 2 MPH over the OEM heavy battery.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tripled the kids' use of their car

This thing brought new life to an old power wheel car! A tired old battery meant the kids did not spend much time on their expensive power wheels car. This kit changed all that. Since I had several cordless drill batteries laying around the garage, I decided to take advantage of this kit. It was well worth the money. It was very easy to install and now with 3-4 cordless batteries, they can drive indefinitely as I rotate the batteries on chargers. We can also take it on our family walks of 1-2 miles so long as we bring 3-4 batteries with us. My main concern was that the increase from 12V battery (stock) to the 18V Rigid would mean it would now be way too fast for them to drive safely. I was glad to be wrong! There was a mild increase in speed but not enough to be concerned with the 3-5 year old driving it. I didn't clock the speed with a radar gun, but I would guess it maybe went from 5 MPH (stock) to maybe 8 MPH with the 18V batteries. I highly recommend this! Game changer.
