**Q: What is the curved bottom part made of? Does it mar or grip the table?**
A: The bottom is made of the same metal exterior as the rest of the travel tumbler.  My tumbler has not marred or gripped the table.

**Q: What the height minus the lid?**
A: 5.75 inches without the lid

**Q: Anyone have trouble unscrewing the lid once it's been on?  Got this for Christmas.  Great mug otherwise, but it's extremely hard to unscrew the top.**
A: I believe that a hot beverage will create a vacuum and make the lid nearly impossible to open.  However, it does screw on tightly, but I don't have too much trouble getting it off.

**Q: Are replacement lids available?  I now have three of them with problems. They are recent purchases and fail on the slider.  Almost no liquid comes out**
A: I've had two which are used every week day for a couple of years and never had this problem.  I hope you get some useful feedback.

Très satisfait de mon achat. Très étanche et demeure étanche malgré mon utilisation quotidienne et le fait que mon achat remonte a plus d'un an. Mon thé est encore chaud aprèse 3-4 heures. Légèrement difficile à laver en profondeur à la main. Je ne l'ai pas mis au lave-vaiselle.
