Although both my daughter's (8yo and 2yo) fit on this, it is best suited for smaller kiddos (I'd say 6 and under), I'd say. The castle comes with repair patches, and its own blower fan, which works quickly and keeps the castle well inflated. It is a bit loud, it not so horrible that you can't stand it. We have used this castle multiple times a week for a few months and it has been holding up very well.
