A: There are four small metal rectangle shaped pieces attached to the wood.  Lift them up to release the backing to insert your photo.  Once the backing is repositioned, bend them back to tighten the backing

These frames are good for the price. They are not the best and I would not suggest using them for anything special. They are lightweight and a bit flimsy, but worth it if you need some cheap frames for an event. We use these for our sports memorabilia, so they work perfect. The frame is plastic and fits a 4x6" image. They do not come with any backing or border. The insert is also not glass, so you should be careful not to scratch the plastic insert covering the image. So far ours have been fine and the clarity is good. They do look good and as long as you are not looking for anything fancy, these will get the job done and are a good value for the money.
