There’s an inverted plastic funnel beneath the angel’s skirt which is too big for the top of my tree. I had to create just the right amount of a paper funnel, insert it and then stuff the top of my tree into it. It took a few tries to get the additional paper funnel the correct size needed to accommodate the bent top of my tree in order to stabilize the topper. I have never found a topper that wasn’t problematic securing although years ago, I had a much bigger tree so I could just plop a topper similar to this on top and it fit perfectly. I gave it help stabilizing by curling a few branches upwards around the funnel beneath the skirt. It wasn’t really necessary but I was being extra cautious lest the tree be jostled somehow. So a lot depends upon the size of the top of your tree. **Q: Is the angel lightweight?** A: Hi, thank for your question. The weight of the angel tree topper is around 13.1 ounces.
