**Q: Does it locked open?**
A: Yes it locks open from the bottom side of the handle

**Q: i'm left-handed. is there a left-handed knife available?**
A: Not sure but the clip is only on the 1 side

**Q: is the thumb stud removable?**
A: Absolutely, if you're willing to do whatever it takes to remove it permanently. It won't just screw off like some studs. I recommend leaving it on, otherwise it would be difficult to open the knife. Most of the blade is covered by the handle when closed.
