Review: Looks and works great, can either twist and insert speaker wire OR use banana plugs on both sides - I am using this wall plate with Monoprice 100ft 14AWG CL2 Rated 2-Conductor Loud Speaker Cable (For In-Wall Installation) and Mediabridge Banana Plugs . I love the organization that this wall plate provides, as well as the look of a professional installation. It is easy to either insert wires into the holes and twist down or insert banana plugs to connect the speaker wires. I like that you have both options. This is a nice wall plate at a great price with plenty of connectivity.
Review: Great! Supports ARC / Ethernet / 4k - I just built my new Home Theater and this worked perfect. I am glad it has ARC - Audio return channel / Ethernet / 4k Support on the HDMI. I paired this with the monoprice 3 gauge wall socket and they fit perfectly with my new 7.1 system. (center doesn't route through the wall). Pros: The HDMI ports have ARC compatibility, 4k Compatibility, and Ethernet Compatibility. The plastic around the ports is actually very thick. This is nice considering you will be pushing and pulling on it with your banana plugs. Cons: If you aren't using banana plugs, the screw caps on the audio ports is very flimsy. What i mean is once you unscrew it a little bit, there is a lot of play/wiggle in the port. I highly recommend Banana Plugs external facing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hello, i would like to know if the hdmi connector can be replace easily, or are you stuck using the one that came with the unit?**
A: It is held in from the back with two screws. If you can find a similar "bulkhead mount" HDMI it might be possible to replace but it still might take some cutting. The plate is a standard size if you can find what you want already mounted it would be easy.

**Q: Will the hdmi port pass 4k hdccp 2.2 through my recievers arc channel?**
A: This product is HDMI pass through and supports up to 4k@30Hz. Hope this helps!

**Q: Are the inserts standard decora-sized inserts?**
A: Yes. The inserts are the same as “decora” sized inserts. 1.25” wide x 2.5” high. Hope this helps!

**Q: Is this US made**
A: No

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best way to connect multiple speakers
*by B***N on December 16, 2019*

This plate was straight to the point and made my home theatre connections so much easier to manage now that I can just plug the receiver right into the jacks. Cable management is now done behind the wall! I can't speak for the quality of the HDMI ports because in my installation, I was running HDMI elsewhere and used this opening for a 6-port Keystone plate which I then used for CAT6a network ports. I only mention it because there might be a use case for someone wanting to swap the included HDMI ports for something else that works better in their situation. Without any issue, this can be done as long as you get a standard Keystone plate. The HDMI plate can easily be unscrewed and a different plate can be installed just as quickly. Now, the reason I removed a star from this review is because the subwoofer jacks were not good on the item I received. After installing everything and mounting it to the wall, I plugged in a subwoofer cable and was immediately hit with a constant bass signal coming out of my woofer. Since my receiver was off, I knew it wasn't coming from any specific source. I removed the wall plate and noticed that the subwoofer jack had broken on the inside and the inner plastic plug was pushed through to the back. This was causing the subwoofer signal pin to touch the ground, thus shorting the cable. I moved the cable over to the second jack and it immediately broke that one as well. I decided not to the return the plate because I had some extra RCA keystones and just simply removed the jacks from those and installed them in this wall plate. There were no more breaking issues after that. So keep an eye on the sub jacks if you buy this product as the plastic looked a bit brittle and may break over time if not right away.
