## Description

Esthetician Grade Facial Brush | Natural Bristle Firm | High Polish Acrylic Handle | Jet Black Finish | Model 704 - JTB

Review: Just As Good As The Electric Brushes - If Used Properly - I've had 3 different electric brushes so far.....two so-called "sonic" & one that just rotated. All of them died before 12 months of use. I am not hard on them, never dropped any of them & never traveled with them. It's strange because I have had the same rechargeable Oral-B toothbrush for at least 8 years. I have concluded the electric facial brushes are just not worth all the money. But I love how clean/exfoliated/clear my skin feels with a brush so I went searching for a replacement. This Bass brush is really good & I get just as clean/exfoliated/clear with it as I did with the overpriced "sonic" brushes. I've used this brush twice a day now for over 2 months. I have had maybe 3 bristles fall out. The bristles are still in really good shape - not bending or looking worn. The handle is really comfortable to use. I would like the head to be a tiny bit smaller but that's a minor complaint. The bristles are just the right stiffness IMO. Not too hard, especially if you run the brush under warm water every time - that softens them more. I have an oily t-zone but somewhat sensitive skin. If you don't overuse the brush or brush too hard, it should be fine. Some people may find using this once a day or every other day is plenty. I splash my face with warm water, apply cleanser, run the brush under warm water for a few seconds to make sure it's wet/clean/softened, shake out excess water & then gently scrub my face in small circular patterns - make sure to hold the brush straight against your face. Don't angle it because you will just end up over scrubbing. It takes a little practice to get the technique right but once you do, you will be able to get in to every nook & cranny around your nose/mouth/chin/between your eyebrows/forehead. My favorite cleanser is actually two cleansers: I first apply a dab of "Aqua Glycolic" cleanser & then a dab of "Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash". I let them sit on my face for a minute or two & then I use the brush. This is so good for exfoliating & keeping my oily t-zone pores, clear. I also have a bottle of the Neutrogena in the shower with the Aqua Glycolic added to it (about 15 pumps of it) so that my husband gets the benefit of these two cleansers - he will never remember to do this 2-step process otherwise.... ;) KEEP IT CLEAN: Make sure to fully rinse & clean your brush when you are done & allow it to air dry. If you don't take proper cleaning care, you will just create a bacteria mess & more skin problems. At least once a week, I pour a little rubbing alcohol on the bristles & then rinse well with warm water. Aqua Glycolic Cleanser: Aqua Glycolic Facial Cleanser, 6 oz Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash, 9.1 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 3)
Review: Great for dry brushing - I could never understand why people would spend $200 for a brush with a battery or needing to be constantly charged, when a manual brush would work just as well, if not better. I purchased this brush, along with another brush, because I wasn't sure which brush I would like. I ended up liking both brushes, but I use this brush specifically for dry brushing my face & neck. It was slightly rough at first, so I took the advice of another review & softened it up by using it on the back of my hand for about a week. I have sensitive, combination skin, but had started having patches of dry skin, which was something new to me. I had never heard of dry brushing, until I started searching beauty articles on how to solve my dry skin problem. After reading several articles on it & watching several videos on the proper way to dry brush, I decided to give it a try. I just wish I had known about it years ago. My friends have even noticed the difference & have asked what I am doing differently with my skincare routine. I gladly tell them about dry brushing with my Bass brush. Many of them had never heard of dry brushing either. I will continue to use Bass brush for my skin care. Nice product & I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Update: I have noticed several comments where users felt this brush was too rough & irritating to their skin. I wanted to post an update on how I use it without irritation. It isn't necessary to use a lot of pressure when using this brush. If you use too much pressure & brush for an extended period of time, it can be irritating to the skin. Like I mentioned above, it is wise to soften the bristles before use on your face. Once your bristles are broke in, you only have to use gentle brushing to exfoliate without irritation. It only takes me a few minutes to dry brush & I have had no problems with irritated skin. I also had an opportunity to compare this brush against a new battery operated brush when my husband bought me a facial steamer as a present. It came with a battery operated facial cleansing brush & sponge attachment for moisturizer. I loved the steamer, but hated the battery operated brush because it was just too soft to effectively deep clean & my face just didn't feel as clean as with my Bass brush. Not only do I save money using a manual brush, I also don't have to worry about replacing batteries or worrying whether I have a "fully charged" unit like some of the expensive facial brushes on the market.

## Features

- GENTLE - The natural bristle brush gently cleanses skin and exfoliates dead skin cells, helping remove blackheads and tighten and tone facial skin. It’s perfect for cleaning your cheeks, nose, chin, neck, and forehead. It can double as a makeup remover, just be sure to thoroughly clean it after each use.
- REVITALIZE YOUR SKIN - Perfect for use in the shower with your favorite soap, cleanser, scrub, or medicated wash, this brush stimulates blood flow as it cleans to revitalize your dry skin.
- SECURE GRIP - The easy-to-hold acrylic handle is well suited for use in the shower, remaining secure in your hands even when wet. The small size also makes it portable, so you can pack it in your toiletries bag for trips.
- SOFT GLOWING SKIN - By deep cleaning skin pores and exfoliating your skin, this brush aids in new skin cell growth, giving you a smooth, glowing look.
- EASY MAINTENANCE - Before you exit the shower, rinse off the brush and allow it to air dry. Every few weeks, clean it with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol before rinsing with warm water. These quick, easy steps will keep your brush - and your skin - in great condition.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great
*by J***B on September 13, 2023*

Soft enough not to hurt but firm enough to do a great job cleaning if you press onto the face and move in circles over the face several times after wetting and soaping face and wetting brush. I wash it off and shake it dry each time but if it hung up, or even had a little hole in the handle for me to run a cord through myself for hanging up, i would feel it dried far better and I wouldn't worry as much over bacteria getting in it. So I removed a star for that. Just a simple hole in it with a cord it would've been 5 stars because hanging it up would be so much better, but otherwise it's great.
