I absolutely packed this pencil case with stationary, and it still held up. The zipper never broke once, and i dont think ot ever will. If you fill it up a lot like I did, it is a bit bulky and hard to carry, but i never had too much of a problem with it. The other complaint I have is that the fabric got a bot stained because I selected the light pink n color, but if you are careful and dont draw on it that shouldn't be a problem.
