If you wait too long, then the hatchlings are too big to go through the first one. At that point, what I do is I stop the air pump, and let it rest. The shells usually rise and the hatchlings swim closer to the bottom so I use a turkey baster to collect them. I still use the longer sieve to since before feeding them to my fry. I don't want them to die?** A: Yes. Dechlorinate water before use. It's supposed to kill everything in it. So we can drink it. Shower in it . And so on . I don't know if shrimp eggs can survive incubation in chlorine for a day while it dissipates. But I wouldn't risk it. The fold in the net makes it a little tricky to get all of the brine shrimp out, but you’ll get used to it. I’ve been using it for about a year, make sure to keep it dry to avoid moldy spots.
