**Q: What's in the box? The info says you only get a power cable. I assume that is incorrect. But ... what's in the box?**
A: You do get the power cord along with the lamp I love mine it looks great and unique

**Q: Can you get a one of these that works with a dimmable build**
A: You have to use a specific dimmable bulb not just an ordinary E27 one, I rewired mine with a flex that had a dimmer switch on.

**Q: Can you dim the bulb?**
A: No, a dimmer bulb doesn’t work with this.
Also, we changed the electric socket as the original one had parts which looked a bit dodgy.
It does look good with an Edison style filament bulb.

**Q: UK plug as shown?**
A: Yes

So far this light is working well and looks great. It's very straightforward - ignore the twisty 'switch' at the front, and just use the switch on the lead. That's all it needs. Straightforward on and off. It looks good with the Edison style bulb suggested in the listing - it's quite bright, but works well with ye olden days look. I'm really pleased with it.
