That leaves it to the producer to choose. It is easy enough to Google C content of lemon juice. (Listing it on the label does NOT make it an additive) **Q: Does this have a strong taste of lemon?** A: It tastes like chalk. I’m skeptical that it doesn’t have baking powder in it. I drink over 100 oz of lemon water a day and this powder is not even close to other brands produce. When I poured out my bottle (because it tasted so bad), there was a gloppy, gooey coating of this product on the bottom of my bottle. I had to use soap to get it to release off the stainless. **Q: Is this a product of China?** A: @RB. Where on the label or in the product information do you find the words "Product of USA?" Those words do not appear anywhere on the product images posted. USDA Organic only suggests that they claim to be producing the product according to USDA guidelines in s factory which may have been inspected by USDA. Most likely it only means that the producer may have filed paperwork self-certifying that they are following USDA guidelines, and that the facility probably has not been inspected by USDA. The location of the company also is not indicative of country of origin. Distributed by is not the same as Made in USA. (If incorrect, would someone please upload an image of the packaging that states the product is made in, manufactured in, or product of USA. About how many ounces is the powder if it is reconsituted with water evaporated out?** A: The package states 2 grams of powder mixed with water makes a drink. I was looking for a way to get myself to drink more water throughout the day, my stomach can't handle all of the flavored add-in's (the liquids or powders), and I ran across this by chance while looking for other things on Amazon. I love it! I can adjust the tartness to my liking, and even when I flavor the water lightly with this, it's still detectable enough to taste it and want to keep drinking water. It's a good value for the money and this bag (10 ounces!) will last me a long time since I am the only one in the house using it. Sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, tree-nut-free, anticaking agent-free, GMO-free. Organic, and is just lemon juice powder. I would absolutely buy this again and have recommended it to some of my lemon loving friends! I just used some of the powder in some lemon raspberry muffins and am hoping to make lemonade with it this weekend. Just an odd side note that when I drink this, my urine turns an orange color. Usually just once a day, and only on the days I use this in my water.
