He didn’t think he wanted the solid plastic piece but I nagged him into trying it finally. He doesn’t mind the solid piece and is finding the pulley system really helpful! It means you can tighten or loosen it with the pulley instead of undoing the big Velcro ends and trying to get them stuck at the right spot. The pulley strings look a little delicate but may be more rugged than they look. Time will tell about that but the first few days have been really good. Since the hard plastic piece can be removed or repositioned, there are way more options with this brace than any others I’ve seen.
