Does the tar get everywhere?** A: I am from St. Louis, I have Melted it with a Lighter, Other than that, In Direct Sun on a really hot Day in my Car, It makes a Smell, But didn't Fuse Together From the Sun. I Also Didn't leave it in there to Bake all day. So, If possible I would avoid Placing it in an Oven at 350 Degrees. lol **Q: Is it uv resistant?** A: Thanks for your question! Yes, the netcoat treatment increases this product's UV resistance. This twine is designed for extended outdoor use. **Q: When it's cut, what do the ends look like/do? How does braided line like this compare to the nature of paracord?** A: Paracord is a kernmantle cord, which means that there are core strands (the kern) inside a braided sheath (the mantle). This bank line is braided through and through, so it does not have separate filler strands like paracord does. It is not a hollow braid, either (like kevlar paracord, for instance).
