The collar felt big but once you put the cape on, it helped make it look more true to character. The symbol on the back is iron on material but it withheld steam ironing just fine. Always flip inside out before you wash to make the symbol last longer. Like all conventions it got toasty but while sitting to eat, simply taking off the cape, unbuttoning the wrist and pushing up the sleeves helped me cool down quickly. I am 5'2", 115lbs and I ordered a Small. It fit well because you tuck the shirt into the skirt and I was able to use the belt for any tightening of the skirt.
