Or will it absorb the oil and pass it through and stain my pillow?** A: Some use this for deep hair conditioning and sleep in it. The shower cap will keep the oil in and will not stain your pillow. After you use it, you can turn the cap inside out and rinse then hang to dry. **Q: I've tried other high end shower caps and they are too small. How well does this fit larger heads?** A: Not well at all. I am unable to wear hats sold in stores as they are too small around my head. Baseball caps have to be adjusted to the last few holes. This was too tight around my head and did not cover my whole hairline. **Q: Is the material non-toxic?** A: It smells really toxic to the point I don’t use it. I am not certain what the company says. I have long curly hair... not loads and loads of it, but apparently enough that I was always trying to fight to keep it inside standard cap I bought from the shops and not sticking out the bottom and getting damp underneath in the shower. This has plenty of room for most heads, at least, for me all of my hair fits in and stays dry during non-hairwash showers! I found the bow on the front unapologetically ugly and unnecessary and first thing I had to do was chop it off with scissors... fortunately it was separate from the band of the cap, so that was easy - and that was just my personal taste.4 out of 5. -1 point for the cost, which I do think is steep and potentially out of most people's price range.
