These are cheap low quality versions of the magnetic locks installed by most baby proofing companies. I am a nanny so I have used every kind of child safety product imaginable and when I saw these I thought I had found a great bargain. My husband spent the better part of an afternoon installing the locks exactly as the instructions directed and they seemed to be great, that is until our 15 month old walked into the living room this morning carrying one in his hand. The lock had literally fallen off.
