I have a pair of these in my airplane and they are half the weight compared to a single lead acid airplane battery. I have no hesitation about using these. I have never accidentally left my master or on left it months and have it die, so when you hear people say how the battery does not stand up to being abused like that, know that no battery does, and these are more expeinseve to replace then cheap heavy batteries.
