A: Our cutter’s operating temperature range must be under 150℃. Preheat 5-10 secs for best temp. Let it rest after 30 mins of use. Otherwise, the wire may turn red and soft, looking like it's melting and won't work.

**Q: Foam cutter glows red right after setup — is this a design defect?**
A: To prevent overheating or melting, please install the foam cutter exactly as shown in our instructions.

**Q: Works fine on regular foam, but won't cut rigid plastic at all — is the cutter defective or just not made for that?**
