Does the fabric breath?** A: The fabric is thick, but it does breathe. I wore them in Portland during the summer. Very hot & humid-the pants were comfortable. I just hate the color. Very washed out. Looks like I’ve owned & washed them for years. Run a little big. *by M***G on September 30, 2017* These are good quality leggings. Material is sort of thick. Like stretchy t-shirt material. I normally buy Large workout pants (I'm 5'4" 157, pear shaped a size 10-12 in pants) but I ordered these in a Medium hoping they would be tight and suck me in a bit. They were not super tight. They fit like normal so I'd say they run a bit big. The reason im giving 4 stars is for the color. They're a charcoal black (see photo, next to a black cardigan that been washed multiple times). These are more like a faded black. Not absolutely horrible. But not how I'd prefer, because I expect these to fade after washing over time.. so I am anticipating that these will be straight gray before long. I ordered 3 pair so it's a bit of a let down. But for lounging around the house they'll do just fine. I feel that they're made well. (IMPORTANT NOTE: these are tagless which is nice but the big Hanes logo iron on thingy shows through (see pic). I always wear shirts that will cover my bottom, so no biggie for me, but I know some people may plan to pair this with a short athletic top, these probably would work for that. These are more lounge wear as opposed to "work out wear"). Overall, they're good. And don't itch so..
