We could not be more happy with these and have gotten numerous compliments on the set. **Q: Are the tiles numbers inset?** A: Yes. The tiles are very well made. Easy to use them. Good grip when you pile them up. I own at least 5 or 6 games and the tiles are very slippery and hard to grab them when you pile them up **Q: Are the metal guards made of brass, or something else like zinc?** A: I don't know -- I don't know my metals enough to say. But I can say that this is a wonderful set -- really high quality and attractive. **Q: Are there two jokers in the set? What does it look like?** A: Yes, two joker tiles. The racks are wood, extremely will made.
