When you replace the high beam light there will be 3 cords. Low beam have 2 cords. However, I ordered these and they did NOT have a hi/lo beam. They had one setting which was extremely bright, but when switching between hi and lo they just turn off and on. I tried every wiring configuration and the only wiring that worked had one setting. I returned mine. **Q: Will these fit a 1990 peterbilt 379?** A: We've used these in Pete 378's and they work splendidly. They will fit the same as the standard 4x6 sealed beam, but read the install instructions thoroughly. Also, be sure to remove rubber cap from the vent so no moisture clouds it up. We also run these on various years KW T800's as well, without any issues whatsoever. **Q: Hey there, how hard do you think it would be to mount them on a 1989 mercury grand marquis?** A: Well, if it is a direct replacement than it should not be hard. Really easy to install, you just have to switch wires in the connectors to the headlights which you only need a small flathead screwdriver to do. The are SUPER BRIGHT, literally night and day different from stock headlights. I bought them 6 months ago and they have been a a BUNCH of dirt roads during my hunting season and all of the LEDs still work and I have never had a problem.
