I can't attach the new top. How do I fix it?** A: This PopSockets PopGrip allows users to easily change out the swappable PopTop. Simply push the top down, twist, and release the button portion of the grip, and replace it with another design. If it can't, then can there be another layer thats made so that it can? Or is there a glue** A: 100% not true. Silicone will not stick to silicone. But the adhesive on the pop socket is so strong it would most definitely stick to it. Now saying that my concern would be that it would pull at the case. I’m guessing it’s a thin layer silicone case. As long as the case is on tight enough I don’t think you’re gonna have an issue it’s just not as cohesive as like a hard plastic. If you don’t want to put it directly on the silicone. You can use almost any round Disk even one of the older tops for the pop socket that you might have because the sizing would be the same. Then you could super glue that circle onto your silicone. And from there then you can stick it on the hard plastic circle and you would be sticking it to hard plastic rather than silicone. Now using this your pop socket will be a little bit higher of course. I would not try to add extra glue to the adhesive already on the pop socket because they’re not the same type of glue and it could mess up the adhesive that is already there which is very strong. And I’ve had to be very careful to make sure to not get silicone cases as they are made with silicone that is piped on to a case. So that’s why I said silicone will not stick to silicone. Also the good thing about the pop socket is that even though it’s a little hard you’re gonna want to use like a butter knife around the edges first but you can unstick the pop socket and place it somewhere else. So I think if you try it and you don’t like it you can always remove it. One last thing if you don’t plan on removing it at all you can reinforce the seal in between the pop socket edge on the case once you’ve already put it on just go around the circle base with some super glue or adhesive of your choice and that will make sure to stick the edges on there to reinforce that even more .
