My fiancée and I love this for more than it’s outside, but what a powerful punch it packs inside too. Inside and out, the sound is clean, and the zinc alloy build really allows for a lot of wiggle room in finding your audio preferences. This speaker isn’t just for hi-fidelity gaming; it ranges from supporting bass-heavy tracks and delivering on clean or dirty punchy midtones, to even simply enjoying a podcast in the kitchen background while I cook with my fiancée, as it beautifully enhances the speaking audio. When paired with an equaliser/EQ software, where you can also adjust and fine tune your audio experience to your liking, pairing it with this speaker means there is nothing but endless opportunities for incredible sound experience every session. Its design is stunning, the sound quality is excellent, and it feels like a high-quality, well-built piece of tech. However, there’s a significant issue that dampened my experience: it randomly shuts off. According to the company, the speaker powers down after 26 minutes of inactivity, even when plugged in, and this feature cannot be disabled. While I can somewhat understand this for energy-saving purposes, it’s disappointing for such a premium-priced product. What’s worse is that the speaker shut off three times while I was actively using it during a Teams call. Hoping this was a defect, I returned my first unit and got a replacement, but the problem persisted. It seems the speaker doesn’t recognize a Teams call as "active use," which is a serious oversight for anyone intending to use it for more than just playing music. Despite this flaw, I decided to keep it because I absolutely love the design. I now use it primarily to play music during the day, where it shines in both sound and aesthetics. That said, the constant powering down is frustrating. Not only does the sound stop, but the beautiful lighting effects turn off as well, leaving you with a plain, dark speaker unless you manually turn it back on every 30 minutes. **Q: How is the sound quality of this speaker？**
A: Surprisingly quite loud.  I have found you definitely get the best boom when you face the back of it towards a wall or even better a corner.  If you have it sitting in the middle of the room it is kind of lacking.  My wife has a Bose Soundlink Revolve which does a bit better than the Gravastar, but those Bose are $100 more.  Overall its a great speaker and the build of the thing is pretty cool.  I have heard of people having the legs snap off, but I handle it like a $200 speaker- I am nice to it haha.

**Q: Where is the aux audio port 3.5?  I only see usb-c? how do you charge it using the usb-c and plug aux audio cable in at the same time?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic speaker that looks and sounds like no other

I own a pair of Mars and Venus speakers so I am well versed in Gravastar awesomeness but I was curious to see how much better the Mars Pro could possibly be. The hefty box with new silver and black graphics indicates something good is waiting inside. Open it up to find a very securely packed Mars Pro with a nice set of angled USB C and audio cables. Lifting this little cannonball from the box makes me happy to see that the signature quality materials and solid build remain unchanged. The attention to detail and design is superb but this new black matte finish makes it look sinister in the best possible way. Pictures just don’t do it justice as it looks even better in person. Power it up and I’m greeted with a familiar “ready to connect” and I immediately notice the added timbre in the voice but I’m distracted by the beautiful LED lights. The new lighting on the Mars Pro looks stunning against its black matte body. All the selectable colors pop and look fantastic. Thankfully there’s a cycling option so you don’t have to decide on any one color as they smoothly transition from one to the next which adds even more character to the speaker. The lights can also be turned off for stealthy listening. The speaker’s Bluetooth clearly identifies it as a Gravastar Mars Pro so pairing is easy and lag free. I start playing some of my favorite tunes and the enhanced bass is immediately noticeable and glorious. The sound it puts out is rich, solid and powerful yet well balanced and clear. The bass adds ambiance that you can feel at all volume levels from low to loud. The Mars Pro is another winner for Gravastar and a worthwhile upgrade from the already excellent Mars. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
