With sun pla my retraction are 4.5mm/50mms **Q: Has anyone tried to use vacuum bag for carbon fibre or fibreglass moulds?** A: I found these vacuum bags and pump work flawlessly. Just ensure the bag is zipped/sealed perfectly (clip tools usually does the job) and then place the pump carefully over the valve. A flat surface is essential to allow good flat contact between pump and valve. If done correctly it takes around 30-60 seconds to achieve a really good vacuum.
