Review: Durable, tough & very well built - Bought this to house my Yoocaa hydroponics setup. This is my first attempt with this hobby, so thought I'd go the whole hog & house it properly. You start off by building the surprisingly sturdy frame (5 minutes) then just open out the cover & fit the frame inside (5 minutes) & that's it. Very good quality material is used throughout, there's an adjustable ventilation hatch and an opening for the power cord at the back & heavy duty zips on the front to open it up to access your hydro setup. Easily big enough for a 12 pod system & enough height to allow the lighting rig to be raised to its full extent. Given the fact it is effectively a sealed environment, it keeps the temperature constant and the silvered lining concentrates the lighting - also, the footprint is big enough for a couple of additional small seed trays to go inside to benefit from the hydro setup's lighting as well. For the price (just on £30 at the time of writing) I think this is a no-brainer if you've invested in one of these setups.
Review: Amazing! Exactly the right size and shape for two 3D resin printers. - Yes, I know this is supposed to be a growing tent for plants, but it's the perfect size to fit on the bench in my shed and insulate my two resin 3D printers from the cold. 3D printer resin needs to be quite warm to work properly. Warmer than most British houses, and definitely warmer than the shed where my printers have been banished to. To be fair, the resin can be a bit smelly, and can make a mess everywhere. While the same could be said of Mrs. Z sometimes, it's the printers that have to live outside. I managed to find individual insulated covers for them, which do work really well, but the ultimate solution is this tent. I've taped 7-watt reptile mats to the metal cases of my printers, which easily hold the resin temperature at 25 degrees C under the dust covers. The inside of the tent is a little cooler, but still warm enough for any resin bottles stored in there to be useable. In the height of winter, I'll put a small heater tube in the tent. The tent is really well-designed. It has a solid framework which clips together. The outer cover fits perfectly, and it's possible to do it on your own but easier with help. There are zips and duct openings everywhere, which makes it really easy to run the power cables for the printers and heat mats out neatly and safely. The openings that are not in use can be sealed up completely, so there's no chance of the heat escaping. If you wanted to use ducts for fume extraction, the openings are the exact size for an inline fan. Because my printers are in an outdoor shed, I'm not particularly concerned about fumes. However, it is nice to be able to work in the shed, knowing that the fumes of the resin are contained inside the tent. In the long-term, I'll add a small extractor fan so I can purge the fumes outside before I open the front. The front door zips open all the way around, and even onto the side panel, so you have total access to everything inside. There's even a pocket inside for your spatula and scraper. Considering it was designed for plants, it couldn't be any better for 3D printers. It even has a spill mat inside. The tent was amazing value - one of the cheapest I could find. Even so, it's still really strong fabric and well-made. I'm really happy with it and I highly recommend it. I have written thousands of reviews for desertcart products, and I genuinely think this is one of the best things I've reviewed. I'm not being paid to say that - I bought this with my own money. it's just exactly what I wanted, which is pretty rare these days!

In an age where any enclosed canvas structure with a ventilation port is immediately assumed to be a shrine to certain botanical pursuits, I feel compelled to offer a more measured account of the Vivosun 2×2 grow tent. Yes, it is sturdy. Yes, it is discreet. Yes, it arrives with the sort of fittings that might cause a passing constable to raise an eyebrow. But let it be known that this tent is also a magnificent tool for the entirely lawful and deeply wholesome act of starting one’s fruit and vegetable seedlings early in the year. My tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, broccoli, and strawberries have all enjoyed the sort of microclimate normally reserved for tropical holidays. The reflective interior gives them a sense of self‑importance, the structure holds heat beautifully, and the ventilation fan (which I also ordered, and which has yet to summon the boys and girls in blue to my doorstep) keeps everything fresh and well‑circulated. Should law enforcement ever appear, I shall greet them cheerfully, offer them a tomato plant, and invite them to admire the seedlings thriving under LED lights like tiny Victorian children at a seaside resort. In short: an excellent tent, a fine horticultural ally, and proof that not every grower is cultivating a lifestyle that requires legal counsel.
