desertcart.com: CAHAYA Guitar Stand Floor Folding Universal Adjustable Guitar Tripod Holder | Fits for Acoustic Electric Guitar Bass Adjust Height 30.7" to 37" with Secure Neck Holder Metal Frame Foam Padding Black : Musical Instruments

Review: buy from this guy - better than I expected. Solid construction, easy to assemble. Versatile. The neck and bracket sit perfectly for a guitar or five string, but I hacked off about four inches so it would accomodate a Uke or a mini Banjo. Works well. The instrument sits up straight, having a rubber guard strap that will keep it from falling forward, but I cut about an inch off the rear leg so the instrument will lean a little far backwards. This product was well worth the price and quite functional
Review: I'm Impressed... - There is NOTHING about this stand that I dislike. I already plan to buy another one next month to put in my home studio. This one sits out by the amp and pedal board. So, obviously, the pictures show that I do not have a guitar on this particular guitar stand. That is the Korg RK100-S2 keytar. And it is a pain in the butt to place on a stand. It's odd shape makes it unstable, and the power on/off switch is right there between the two forks. Along with audio in jacks, the MIDI out, the USB port and a gain switch for a microphone. I have never heard of the CAHAYA music company before, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to get the stand for that reason alone. But, for the price, I figured that I could just leave it on the curb if it didn't work out. My main concern was needing the neck forks to be offset so much (as can be seen in the picture). I've had other stands (much more expensive) that had a kind of tongue in groove system that didn't let the neck rotate at all. That was my main concern. As you can see, no matter how screwy a position you need that neck fork to be, it can accommodate. I did have to make a slight alteration to the base forks. Again, see the picture. I used a couple of zip ties to pinch the ends of the base forks together approximately 1/2 inch. The pictures and dimensions provided by the company were at the top of the page were correct. What I didn't take into account was that my strap lock takes up about 1 inch of the bottom of the keytar. The instrument still rested easily on the base, but just barely. So I did this just to be safe. The rubber on the forks seems to be the standard stuff you will find on a lot of lower to mid-range stands. I definitely like the padding that you can find on the higher tier stands from Gator and On Stage better, but those stands come at a premium, and wouldn't have held this instrument well anyway. My concern is that this type of rubber gets tacky when it's hot, and that MIGHT damage the finish of a really nice instrument. Time will tell if it damages the finish of THIS really nice instrument, but it doesn't feel tacky at the moment, and the keytar is super stable when resting on it. Assembly was a breeze. I didn't even look at the instructions. Although, I did notice that there were both words and illustrations for anybody that needs a little help. The neck hinge is secured with a nut and bolt. And that is nice, because even some of the $80+ stands just have a squeeze kind of grip that is tight and stable, but also can be easily collapsed if hit at the right (or completely wrong) time! As for the base forks, they also secure with a nut and bolt, but there are also (2) two washers provided that allow you to tighten the base on really well, but still allows the forks to rotate into a self-leveling position when you place your instrument on it. Honestly, with the exception that I wish it had a better quality foam rubber padding, this might just be the most well engineered guitar stand that I have ever owned. It is certainly the most versatile.

## Features

- Umbrella-Shaped Structure Sturdy Base: We add three thick metal support bars to the base to provide additional support for the entire guitar stand. Tripod legs extend farther outwards for a steadier footing. Anti-slip rubber feet to hold a firm grip on the floor. Once the guitar stand is installed and put the guitar in place, it will be very stable and has no chance of falling over. The height of the base is adjustable from 5.1"-8.7".
- Height Adjustable Guitar Stand: Compared with traditional guitar stands, the biggest feature of this guitar stand is that it can be rotated to adjust the height from 30.7"-37". There is also a fixing screw on the top of the guitar stand to ensure that the guitar stand head wont bend.
- Reinforced Guitar Stand: According to the voice of our valued customers, we have strengthened the connection between the cradle and the bracket. All the points of guitar and the stand in contact are wrapped with thick sponge. The delicate and thoughtful design is all about protecting each musical instrument.
- Thick and Universal Arms: Different from the flat and straight shape of guitar arms, CAHAYA floor guitar stand has uneven supporting arms, which could firmly fix both thin and thick instruments without the risk of sliding and scratching. Very suitable for acoustic, electric guitars, bass, 6 and 12 string guitars, banjo, mandolin, etc. Higher cradle is also fits for V-shaped guitars. Every great guitar deserves the best guitar stand!
- Space Saver: CAHAYA guitar stand can be folded flat for easy transportation and storage. The height of the base is adjustable, also very suitable for music lovers with limited room space. Suitable for all-purpose performance and practice at any time! Such as the concert, tour, music festival, party, ceremony, talent show.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality at a great price.
*by V***H on August 22, 2023*

This review covers two CAHAYA products: - 5 in 1 Dual Use Sheet Music Stand - Guitar Stand Floor Universal I bought them together, use them together, and have similar feedback on them, so am cross-posting this review for both products. I am an amateur, non-gigging player and have no need of (and cannot afford!) professional quality stands. However, I am tired of purchasing lower-end products that are poorly-designed and poorly manufactured using inferior materials. CAHAYA has hit the sweet spot offering decent quality stands at affordable prices. This music stand came as part of a kit including a desktop adaptor, travel bag, music clip, and sheet music folder. Personally I have little use for the folder, but it's a nice touch to include it. The desktop adaptor and clip work well when you need them. The bag is great and I use it whenever I need to quickly vacate the family room for visitors. It even accommodates my CAHAYA guitar stand. Everything (except the sheet music folder) breaks down quickly and goes into the bag in about a minute. The most important piece--the music stand itself--is well-designed and well-manufactured. Most important for me is that it easily accommodates thick three-ring binders full of music. It adjusts to any height I need, whether sitting or standing. For daily, same-location amateur use, this music stand kit is a bargain. If you expect to break it down, pack it up, throw it in a vehicle and reassemble it several times a week, you should probably go more high-end. (But if you just don't have the budget to do so, this kit can probably survive some length of pro service as long as you don't abuse it ) The CAHAYA Universal Floor Guitar Stand is similar to the music stand in terms of materials, reliability, and value: an absolute bargain for a single-location amateur. If you expect to set it up in different venues every week where it might get knocked over by a drummer stumbling toward his or her kit or by a drunk audience member, you should probably go more high-end. But this stand is light years better than some of the products that are just $10 cheaper. Some people complain that it holds the guitar too high, making it too unsteady. I was a little concerned about this at first, but I use it for a relatively heavy bass, and have never had a problem. In fact, the cradle appears to be high to accommodate the adjustable tripod legs, so it was designed this way for a reason. My only minor complaint is that you need to completely remove bolts, knobs, nuts, and washers when fully collapsing the stand. If you expect to be doing this a lot, there's a good chance you're going to drop and lose a piece at some point. Otherwise, this stand is a great solution for anybody on a budget that won't be abusing their equipment.
