Made in USA - It’s a metal box painted a reddish orange color. It looks pretty good and has a proto sticker on it. It’s made in the USA and well made too. The main thing is that the hinges done bind up and the inner tray is seats well on the inner ledges. I would sat that it’s a good value for the money you spend. I purchased this for use at work. I am taking tools out and putting them in all day. It’s getting dirty and scratched and a little beat up, but tool boxes are supposed to be that way. I think it will serve me well for a lot of years. Honestly I’d be surprised if I had to buy another one. It’s made of steel, but it’s not really very heavy. The handle seems to be of high quality but the handle is not steel, I think it’s a high density acrylic or plastic. Highly recommended overall!
